Wah! Where exactly does time go?
This poor blog has been so neglected and I'm missing updating here and catching up with my favourite blogs. So good to see the return of Alison and excellent to hear from old blogpal McKay. Still snowed under, with little disappearing off my to do list.
Study still in progress but lacking numbers and particularly needing men. FOR THE STUDY...just to preempt any funny emails!
Recently had to put my 15 year old cat Mahjong down. Just had a feeling that his health would decline when no one else was around and I would have to handle this alone. Let me tell you I blubbed like a baby. The vet said I could buy him some more time by draining his lungs again but the best thing to do for him would be to end his suffering. Gathering all my resources, I got myself under control. All well and good until Practical Man, stuck at work, sends Mahjong a farewell text. Wah! Thanks.
I hope to be blogging more regularly now as I have a shiny new iPad that allows me to blog in bed..aren't you glad you can't see me?....sadly about the only free time I have!

Nice to hear from you! I'm sorry that you lost your cat. They are like part of the family.
Very sorry about your kitty. I haven't ever had to put an animal down. My pets have either gotten run over, eaten by coyotes, or they died on someone else's watch. But I did a brief stint with a veterinary school, promoting an on-call program - psych grad students responding to the vet school's need for additional support in the event of euthanasia. Many people struggle greatly with this and understandably.
Oh Mahjong. Sorry for your loss, I bet it was an ouch for sometime. I've had a cat put down as well, it's very hard even if it's the best thing to do.
Glad you're back, I went all over the place with the blog there for a while but I think I've found my direction again.
