What kind of psychologist are you?

You Scored as Cognitive

A strong proponent of "attitude is everything," you believe how a person views the world is the key to their psychological health. Negative or overgeneralized attitudes are, as well as often wrong, thoroughly unhealthy. Therapy involves the systematic reteaching and reshaping of mindset, which can be quick or slow depending on the patient.

Cognitive

Psychoanalytic
45%
Behaviorism
40%
Humanistic
40%
Physiobiological
15%

A bit of a fun quiz. Somewhat accurate in that I do use a lot of CBT but 'attititude is everything', I can't say I subscribe to that exclusively. The percentage of psychoanalytic surprised me but then I think the questions probably reflect a more psychodynamic approach, which then makes more sense.

And you? Take the test here.

I scored psychoanalytic and middle range for everything else. I'd say I'm ecclectic. Fun find, HP.

I scored cognitive as well. Considering the type of psychology I plan on going into, that is a good thing. ;o)

I got Cognitive, too! I'm not a big fan of CBT but it does have it's place :)

I'm with Deb, really, in taking a more eclectic approach. I don't believe psychology should be a 'one size fits all' approach.

I scored cognitive with a high percentage of psychodynamic. Happy with that.
