World Aids Day

There seems a greater deal of complacency about HIV/AIDS these days. Some younger people seem to have a level of ignorance about HIV/AIDS that was commonly seen when HIV/AIDS first appeared on the scene, others seem to not think about it at all.

On World Aids Day, take time to remember, AIDS is still with us.

I think about this, make that worry about this, frequently. I think I saw some research talking about the drop in condom use among young gay men, example.

alright, I just had to post a second comment to inform you that the "word verification" staring me in the face right now is, "unarse"

is that intentional? ; )

Scary stuff that some folks are doing now. So many think it's no big deal to contract HIV or AIDS because of the meds available today. What they don't seem to get is that it's still a very big deal.

I agree. I see more apathy about things nowadays. It boggles my mind.
